SOUTH BRISTOL, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- The Harvey Gamage returned home to Maine Sunday.
The Schooner was built nearly 4 decades ago in South Bristol by Harvey Gamage.
For the last 15 years it has sailed the open water with the Ocean Classroom Foundation. Students spend months at a time on the schooner taking classes and learning about culture as they make stops around the world.
This is the first time the Harvey Gamage has returned to its home dock since it hit the water.
The popular schooner is open to the public on Monday at the Harvey Gamage Shipyard in South Bristol.
