SOUTH PARIS, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Young's Greenhouse is back open for the season, but it took a lot of work to get there after a tornado tore through Oxford County last summer.

Young's lost 17 of their greenhouses in the August tornado, with winds up to 110 miles per hour.

Since then, they've rebuilt 7 greenhouses, making them extra long.

Owners say it was a lot of work but it only took a few months thanks to the help and support of their friends, family, and community.

The Youngs say luckily, insurance covered a lot of the damage.

To thank the community and show off their new greenhouses, they're having an open house Saturday, May 8, where they'll be giving away free plants.
