(NEWS CENTER) Grill On! Buck's Naked BBQ of Freeport and Windham, grilled up some unique twists on classic recipes on our grill deck this Wednesday of Grill Week.
We assure you, it really does taste as good as it looks on television. So, we're letting you in on some of the secret recipes. Enjoy!
1) Korean Beef Grilled Short Rib Lettuce Wraps:
Marinade for boneless short ribs
Thinly sliced short ribs
1/2c soy sauce
1T sesame oil
2T veg oil
1t vinegar
1/2t lime juice
1 whole pears
1t garlic
1/4c onion
1/2t black pepper
1/2t coriander
1/8c citrus seltzer water
Mix all ingredient's in cuisine art and pour over short ribs. Let marinate for 8 to 24 hours before grilling. Serve with lettuce wraps and sides.
2) "Pineland Farm" Smoked Beef Ribs ( Pineland farm is a local farm out of New Gloucester Maine):
Peel membrane of the back side of ribs. Rub with Bucks Rub Love and salt & pepper then slow smoke for 3 to 4 hours or desired tenderness. Finish on the grill and serve with your favorite sides.
3) "North Star Farm" Grilled lamb Kabobs ( North Star Farm sheep farm is a local farm in Windham Maine):
Rosemary Garlic Marinade
1c olive oil
3T minced garlic
1/8c minced onion
1 lemon juice & zest
3T chopped rosemary
1T S&P
Mix all ingredients together in cuisine art or by hand and pour over lamb tips. Marinate for 8 to 24 hours before grilling. Serve with favorite sides and toppings.
