ONE LONGFELLOW SQUARE

In celebration of One Longfellow Square turning two years old this September, they are presenting an extra special evening performance, featuring acoustic blues artist John Hammond. A Grammy Award winner and four time nominee, Hammond is also a multiple W.C. Handy award winner and has shared the stage with blues masters from Muddy Waters to Howlin' Wolf. His 2009 release Rough & Tough has reached #13 on the Billboard Blues charts. Local musicians Samuel James and Sara Cox will share the stage.

The event takes places on Saturday, September 26th at 8 PM. Tickets are $25 in advance, and $28 at the door.

ROBERT FRANK

Robert Frank's LOOKING IN: ROBERT FRANK'S THE AMERICANS will be on exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art from September 22nd - January 3rd, 2010. Frank was in Maine this summer for a presentation at the Maine Media Workshops.
