Thelma Schoonmaker is the Mid-Life Achievement Award Winner at the 2012 Maine International Film Festival.

Thelma Schoonmaker is the recipient of 7 Academy Award nominations and 3 Oscars. Thelma Schoonmaker has edited every one of Martin Scorsese's films since Raging Bull in 1980. Thelma was married, until his death in 1990, to British film director Michael Powell.
