L.L. Bean Christmas Tree
L.L. BEAN TREE LIGHTING
L.L. Bean will ring in the holiday season with its Christmas Tree lighting on Friday, November 18th at 6:45 PM in L.L. Bean's Discovery Park. The 60-foot tree will be decorated by lighting artist Pandora LaCasse and lit with over 35,000 thousand LED lights. The evening will also feature performances by Bowdoin College's a cappella groups Meddiebempsters and Miscellania.
L.L.Bean will also be hosting a coat drive for seniors along with Maine Area Agencies on Aging, collecting gently used coats for Maine's older citizens throughout the weekend. For every coat received, L.L.Bean will provide a matching donation of $5 to the Keep ME Warm Campaign.
The Christmas Tree Lighting is the first of many special events planned during L.L.Bean's season-long "Northern Lights" celebration.
