(NEWS CENTER) -- Jacob Bellaire starts us off this week with a monster bass he took out of Coleman Pond.
Cameren on the dock certainly has captured the joy of the fishing season . . . or the Joie de la pêche as I often refer to it. When I'm going for pretentious.
From the Saco River comes this three and a half pound bass courtesy of Annette Lebrecque.
That's a nice name to say "Annette Lebrecque." Just think of how much nicer roll call would be if more people had rhyming names?
Three year old Violet MacDonald of Monmouth, that's near capital city, with a largemouth bass.
Violet fishing . . . I'm going to go with Cochnewagon Lake. Apologies if I butchered that.
Big Sister Petyon landed a largemouth. Pretty impressive. Looks like the bass were certainly biting that day.
The catch: The angler, six year old Beckett Hall of Freeport. The scene: Cochnewagon Lake in Monmouth. Great job Beck, proud of you.
What a great looking perch. Lilah Hall fishing with her brother Beckett landed this fantastic specimen of a white perch. I'm guessing it was a successful haul for the halls.
Halls, Smalls, we've got them all on the Big Ol Fish facebook page. Join us there each and every day for fun and the usual fishy hijinks. Yeah, that's right I said fishy hijinks. Where else are you going to get that on your world wide web?
