Body builder looks to keep training partner's name alive

ELLSWORTH, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Investigators think a wintry mix and slick roads lead to a deadly accident on route 1A in Orland back in March. 21-year-old Russell Bennett lost control of his car on the slushy roadway, crashing into another vehicle. He was killed at the scene.

Russell was known to be a pretty popular, well-liked young man in the city of Ellsworth. A frequent visitor to the weight room inside the Down East family YMCA, he was training to compete in a body building competition in Boston.

He was going to compete alongside good friend of his Adam Carter.

As NEWS CENTER's Johnny Mehler shows us, Adam is making sure Russell is still with him as he prepares to go into the competition, now by himself.
